Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Crowdzo, a service for creating and running interactive presentations, operated by SimplyPulse AB ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using Crowdzo, you agree to these Terms.

Crowdzo allows you to build presentations from interactive slides and run them live with an audience. A presentation can contain six types of slide:

• Live poll - a multiple-choice question with results shown as bars.
• Word cloud - one word per participant, with recurring words shown larger.
• Open text - free-text answers that the host selects for display.
• Scale - a rating, shown as a distribution and an average.
• Text slide - text only, requiring no answer.
• Q&A - questions submitted by the audience, with voting.

Participants join a session with a six-digit PIN or a QR code. They do not need an account, an app or an installation. Results can be shown on a separate big-screen view, which is an ordinary web page.

The service is available via crowdzo.live.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Accounts

To save presentations and access your data you need to create an account using your email address. Login is by a one-time link sent to that address; there is no password. You are responsible for keeping your login link confidential and for all activity under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us at hello@crowdzo.live immediately.

Participants who join a session do not create an account and are not covered by this section.

4. Free and Plus Plans

Crowdzo is available in two plans:

• Free - build and run presentations with all six slide types and Q&A at no cost.
• Plus - adds images on slides, review of audience questions before they are published, up to 20 invited moderators, your own colours and logo, downloadable results, and sharing presentations with colleagues, for EUR 6 per month.

Features included in each plan may change over time. We will notify existing Plus subscribers by email before reducing the features of their plan.

5. Subscription and Payment

Crowdzo Plus is a monthly subscription billed at EUR 6 per month. Payment is processed securely by Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"), our authorised reseller and payment provider. By subscribing you also agree to Paddle's Terms of Service.

Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. You will be charged on the same date each billing period.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your Crowdzo Plus subscription at any time from within your dashboard. There is no minimum commitment and no cancellation fee. After cancellation your Plus access continues until the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to the Free plan.

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at hello@crowdzo.live and we will investigate promptly. Full details are set out in our Refund Policy.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Crowdzo to:

• Create or distribute content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, hateful, or otherwise objectionable.
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or other users' accounts.
• Use the service for any commercial purpose other than hosting your own presentations without our prior written consent.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute the service or its content without permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

8. Running a Session

As the host you decide what is shown on screen. Crowdzo gives you tools to hide, pin, mark as answered or delete audience questions, and - on the Plus plan - to review questions before they become visible to others, and to invite moderators to help you do so.

You are responsible for the conduct of the sessions you run, including what your audience is invited to submit and what you choose to display. Where you run a session on behalf of an organisation, you are responsible for ensuring that doing so is permitted by that organisation.

9. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create in Crowdzo, including slides, questions, answer options and any uploaded images. By using Crowdzo you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service. We do not sell or share your content with third parties.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your content does not infringe any third-party rights or applicable laws.

10. Intellectual Property

All software, design, and branding of Crowdzo are the property of SimplyPulse AB and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or other proprietary materials.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Crowdzo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Use of the service is at your own risk.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SimplyPulse AB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Crowdzo shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
